Sample Consignments - DPD Express
Whether you’re arranging collections by phone, fax or the web site, you’ll need to complete an DPD EXPRESS consignment note.
Sending consignments worldwide by DPD EXPRESS
Here are some guidelines for completing the consignment note:
- Account number: -Enter your account number here
- From: Enter the name of the sender
- To: Complete recipient details in full. Please ensure that you enter the full delivery address and telephone number/e-mail address
- Receivers VAT number: Enter the receiver’s VAT number or equivalent (if known)
- Description of Contents: Give a full description of the items being shipped. Part numbers/serial numbers or the word ‘samples’ as the description is not acceptable. The information provided must be accurate. If there is sufficient space in the proforma or commercial invoice full details must be given
- Currency/Value: Enter the value of the shipment and currency (for customs purposes)
- Destination code: Will be entered by Air Express depot or gateway
- No of packages: Please state the number of packages being shipped
- Weight: State shipment weight (rounded to the next half kilogram)
- Please select service required: Indicate the required service by ticking the appropriate box
- Dimensions: State shipment dimensions in centimetres
- Shippers signature: The sender must sign and date the consignment note
- Commodity code: Enter the customs tariff number (if known)
- Drivers signature: The driver must sign and date the consignment note
