Step 1 - Initial setup

The initial set up of ship@ease is quick and easy.

Click on the E-Shipping tab in the navigation at the top of the screen. Using the left navigation within the E-Shipping tab click on My Information then My Preferences:

In the My Preferences area you can amend/set up defaults for the following:

  • Contact details
    Basic contact information for this user logon
  • Printing Settings
    Defaults what type of printer you will be printing labels on*
    * Please note that if your Account Manager/Sales Executive arranged delivery of one of our thermal label printers then please contact that person to arrange installation.
  • Collection defaults
    Set your defaults for collections/3rd party collections
  • Shipping defaults
    Set your defaults for shipping both domestic and international consignments
  • Invoice settings
    Set your defaults for invoice settings when sending an international consignment

Once you have completed the initial set-up, please go to step 2 to create a shipment

Step 2 - Create Shipment

To create a shipment, select Create Shipment from the left navigation within the E-Shipping tab, then click on Ship Parcels

There are three stages to creating a shipment: Delivery Address and Package Details, Confirmation and Label generator

The stages below detail the information required to complete the consignment details and create the label:

  • Delivery Address and Package Details
    Complete all mandatory fields, when all necessary information has been entered, use the 'next' button to go to the confirmation stage
  • Confirmation*
    Enables you to review the shipment before creating labels. When completely satisfied, use the 'print now' or 'print later' option
  • Label generator
    Produces labels via your default printer option
    *Note at the confirmation stage you can choose to go back to stage 1 to amend any delivery or package details
  • Label Printing
    If using the 'print later' option, you will skip the label generator stage. When you're ready to print the labels, click on Print labels in the left navigation within the E-Shipping tab, then click on Print your labels.
    This will enable you to print single/multiple labels in one print job

Once you have created a shipment, please go to step 3 to create/view the manifest.

Step 3 - Creating & viewing a manifest

To create or view a manifest, click on Produce a Manifest in the left navigation within the E-Shipping tab, then click on Print a Manifest

In this section, you will then be able to:

  • Create new manifest
    Reviews all outstanding unmanifested items and allows you to select/deselect items to appear on one individual manifest

Once you have created and viewed the manifest, please go to step 4 to review history.

Step 4 - Review history

To review the history, click on Create Shipment in the left navigation within the E-Shipping tab, then click on Shipment History.

This section allows you to monitor and review all shipments sent via DPD.

  • Shipment detail
    Click on this link to review a detailed summary of the shipment
  • Magnifying glass
    Click on this image to provide a detailed traceability report for the consignment
  • Advanced search
    Use this option to amend the search criteria, table columns and order sequence

Once you have reviewed the history, please go to step 5 to learn how to view and amend your address book information.

Step 5 - Address Book

and how to view, edit and amend your Address Book information

To access the address book, click on Create Shipment in the left navigation within the E-Shipping tab, then click on Manage your Address Book

This area allows you to review, delete, add, import and amend address book contacts

  • Search
    Use the search criteria text box to search for a contact
  • Delete
    Tick the contacts that you want to delete then select the delete option
  • Add
    Select this option to add ad hoc contacts to the address book
  • Import
    Use this option to import a CSV file of contact details into the address book
  • Navigation options
    There are various other options on screen that allow you to navigate to other contacts within the address book
