Roads will continue to be busy this week as schools return for the new term. Major trunk roads are congested - A2, A12, A13 & A40. Work continues on A406 at Brent Cross to repair broken water main.
Avoid driving on or near the PRN and around Games venues, particularly around the Olympic Park in Stratford and on the A102 approach roads north and south of the Blackwall Tunnel.
Roads east of St. Pauls, including those in and approaching the City, and roads around Games venues will be very busy, so plan your journey and allow more time.
Roads near the Live Site in Trafalgar Square are also expected to be busy.
The Olympic Park will be busy all day with six of the seven venues in operation.
Today is the last day that the PRN to the Royal Artillery Barracks is in operation.
Games events will be taking place at the following venues in London:
- Olympic Park: Stadium, Aquatics Centre, Basketball Arena, Copper Box, Riverbank Arena, Eton Manor
- River Area: ExCeL, North Greenwich Arena
Paralympic Road Cycling will be taking place at Brands Hatch today.
