Opening Doors
Opening Doors is an award winning bespoke work experience initiative for secondary school pupils in and around Smethwick, which promotes a systematic, organised and relevant work placement programme.The week-long programme includes full preparation for students before they start work, a wide selection of departments to work in, and a career-planning workshop on their last day.
Apprentice Programme
DPD works in partnership with Phoenix Academy and offers apprenticeships in various departments across the buisness, including Sales, Marketing and Engineering. The apprentice programme gives young students the opportunity to learn new skills and gain vocational qualifications whilst earning a salary.
